Trust and safety
Community Guidelines
Dopebase is for builders helping one another move real products forward. These rules apply to public profiles and every community feature we add next.
Effective August 4, 2026
Be useful
Share honest context, constructive feedback, and clear requests.
Be yourself
Do not impersonate another person, company, or product.
Respect boundaries
Do not publish private data, harass members, or bypass their contact choices.
What belongs here
- Accurate information about your role, skills, stack, availability, and work.
- Constructive collaboration and feedback connected to building or launching products.
- Links you own or trust and that are safe for other members to open.
What we remove
- Spam, scams, deceptive claims, malicious links, or attempts to manipulate discovery.
- Impersonation, harassment, threats, hate, sexual exploitation, or targeted abuse.
- Private personal information shared without permission or content that violates another person’s rights.
Privacy and discovery
Profiles start private. Publishing a profile makes its direct URL public. Directory visibility is a separate setting: a public profile can stay outside member search and search-engine sitemaps.
Reports and moderation
Verified members can report a profile. Reports are private and reviewed by Dopebase administrators, normally within two business days. We may hide a profile while investigating or when it violates these rules. Restoring a moderated profile does not republish it automatically; its owner chooses when to publish again.
For an immediate safety or privacy concern, use the report control on the relevant profile or contact Dopebase support.
